The Illinois State Police Heritage Foundation is inviting artists, supporters, and members of the community to help create the official t-shirt design for the 2026 Illinois State Fair.
Each year, the Foundation's State Fair t-shirt serves as a way to celebrate the Illinois State Police while connecting with thousands of fairgoers from across the state. This year's contest offers the opportunity to have your design featured on the official 2026 shirt.
Design Requirements
Designs should respectfully honor the Illinois State Police while celebrating the Illinois State Fair.
Every submission must include:
ISP or Illinois State Police
Illinois State Fair 2026
The design should be created for the front of the shirt only.
Design Guidelines
To ensure designs can be produced successfully, submissions should follow these guidelines:
Maximum of four print colors (white counts as a color)
Original artwork only. AI-generated or AI-assisted artwork will not be accepted.
No copyrighted, trademarked, or licensed material
No offensive, discriminatory, political, or explicit content
Avoid gradients, drop shadows, glow effects, and photographic elements
Artwork should remain clear and readable from several feet away
Avoid extremely fine lines and very small text
Design must fit within a 12-inch wide by 14-inch tall print area
Submission Requirements
Please submit your artwork as a high-resolution PNG or a vector file (AI, EPS, or SVG preferred).
Include your name and contact information with your submission so we can reach you if your design is selected.
Contest Deadline
All submissions must be received by July 10, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. CT.
Completed designs should be submitted to information@isphf.org.
The winner will receive:
A gift card to the ISPHF Store
An official t-shirt featuring their winning design
Ownership Information
By entering the contest, participants grant the Illinois State Police Heritage Foundation permission to use, reproduce, and modify submitted artwork for production and promotional purposes.
The winning design will become the property of the Illinois State Police Heritage Foundation. The Foundation also reserves the right not to select a winning design if a suitable submission is not received.
