The Illinois State Police Heritage Foundation provides programs and services that preserve the history of the Illinois State Police, educate the public about its roles and contributions, inspire diverse individuals to pursue careers in law enforcement, and honor fallen officers while supporting their families.

Gold Star Families
Addressing some of the financial needs of the families of Illinois State Police officers who die in the line-of-duty such as direct donations, travel to attend the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, DC and Operation Santa. If making a direct donation to the family, please list the name of the officer.

Operation Santa
Each year, the Foundation and Illinois State Police personnel join forces with other first responders to support underprivileged students, their families and educators. Officers spread holiday cheer by providing gifts and meals to the students, families and school staff.
