In Service to the Memory of the Men and Women of the Illinois State Police

The Illinois State Police Heritage Foundation provides programs and services that preserve the history of the Illinois State Police, educate the public about its roles and contributions, inspire diverse individuals to pursue careers in law enforcement, and honor fallen officers while supporting their families.

Programs We Support

Gold Star Families

Addressing some of the financial needs of the families of Illinois State Police officers who die in the line-of-duty such as direct donations, travel to attend the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, DC and Operation Santa.  If making a direct donation to the family, please list the name of the officer.

Illinois State Police Benevolent Fund

The Illinois State Police Benevolent Fund helps provide assistance to current and former Illinois State Police employees in times of need such as catastrophic illness or injury, extraordinary medical situations, or disasters.

Illinois State Police Memorial Park

The Memorial Park was created as a tribute to honor the memory of officers who died in the line of duty. Donations and funds raised by the ISPHF help with the ongoing maintenance of our Memorial Park and holding an annual memorial commemoration.

Illinois State Police Museum

Supporting the construction and maintenance of our new museum dedicated to preserving the legacy of the Illinois State Police.

Illinois State Police Gift Shop 

The Illinois State Police Gift Shop is a store we operate to raise funds that help support all of these various programs. Every purchase made goes towards honoring the legacy of our officers and supports the ISPHF preservation efforts.

Programs We Support & For Which We Hold Funds

Operation Santa

Each year, the Foundation and Illinois State Police personnel join forces with other first responders to support underprivileged students, their families and educators.  Officers spread holiday cheer by providing gifts and meals to the students, families and school staff.

Illinois State Police Softball Tournament

An annual event held in the Springfield area attracting Illinois State Police personnel from around the state with the intent of promoting physical exercise and fundraising.
