Our standard livery 1996 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor comes to us from District 16 after a lengthy 210,000 mile tour of duty. In fact, this vehicle has undergone significant repairs so it may be ready for exhibition and road travel. Peerless Disaster Restoration and Recontechs Springfield sponsored the reclamation of the interior from the mold and mildew that had created quite the stronghold. A new decal package was applied in late winter of 2022, perhaps one of the most polarizing appearances ever sported by the ISP: the “Cheese Wedge.” Randy Miller and 1 Stop Auto Shop Chatham are stepping in with a complete brake system overhaul and significant frame repair to remedy the years of snowy and salty highways of northern Illinois. We are still looking for donations to finish up this project, so reach out to James at vintagefleet@isphf.org if you wish to help support the efforts!
