Get Involved with the Illinois State Police Heritage Foundation

What are you interested in?  How much time do you have to donate?  There is something for anyone who wishes to volunteer! Many volunteers are active and retired Illinois State Police personnel, but some family and friends help, too.

Work in the Gift Shop

The ISPHF operates a Gift Shop in the Museum and Illinois State Police Academy.  Volunteers assist visitors in selecting t-shirts, key chains, hats, coffee mugs, and other items. They also help to put out merchandise, fold clothing, collect payment, and complete an end-of-shift sales report.
Gift Shop hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Contact Pat Rogers, , if you are interested.

Work in the Museum

The Museum is relocating so all the collections are in storage.  However, when it opens its doors again, our volunteer docents greet visitors, act as guides, and answer questions about the displays. There is also a Gift Shop located in the Museum.
Contact Stephanie Peske, for further information and to volunteer.

Serve on an Event Committee

The ISPHF has ad hoc committees formed for specific events such as fundraisers for the Museum, Trivia Night, Operation Santa, and others.
